- The Collections tab of an event already open in an ODV
Event Notifications can be dragged from:

- Notifications Explorer widget
The following example shows dragging-and-dropping an event on Events Explorer to an ODV. The Collections widget possess the same functionality.
View Button (Eye icon)
Many widgets display a View (eye) icon next to events and collections. Clicking this icon sends the selected object to an Object Details Viewer. The behavior depends on how many Object Details Viewer widgets are currently open in the workspace.
No Object Details Viewer widgets open
A new Object Details Viewer widget is automatically created and the object is loaded into it.
One Object Details Viewer Open
The object is sent directly to the existing viewer.
Multiple Object Details Viewer Widgets Open
You are prompted to select which viewer should receive the object.
Isolated Object View (New Tab or Window)
Events and collections can also be opened in an isolated Object Details Viewer mode, separate from your workspace layout.
From the View (eye) icon:
- CTRL + click (Windows/Linux) or COMMAND + click (Mac) opens the object in a new browser tab.
- SHIFT + click opens the object in a new browser window.
In isolated mode:
- The object loads in its own Object Details Viewer.
- All standard ODV functionality is available.
- The view is independent of workspace widgets.
The following example demonstrates opening an event in isolated (new tab) mode by using CTRL + click (Windows/Linux) or COMMAND + click (Mac) on the View icon.
Clearing Object Details Viewer
Any object that is loaded onto Object Details Viewer widget can be cleared by clicking the X button on the upper-right of the widget.
