Workspaces

A workspace is a personal working area in Workstation where you organize tools to perform a specific task or analysis. You can think of a workspace as a canvas that you configure to suit the way you work.

Workspaces are made up of widgets. Each widget serves a specific purpose, such as viewing events, inspecting details, analyzing relationships, or managing collections. For a full list of available widgets and what they do, see Widgets.

By combining widgets within a workspace, you can create focused workflows. For example:

  • Using Events Explorer with Object Details Viewer allows you to find events and inspect their details.
  • Using Collections with Object Details Viewer allows you to review and manage collection (case) data.

Each workspace is personal to you. Changes you make—such as adding widgets, rearranging layouts, or applying filters—only affect your workspace, and do not impact other users. This allows you to tailor workspaces to your own workflows without disrupting others.
