Exporting Collections
Collections can be exported using PDF or DOCX templates configured in Report Builder.
This section assumes you are viewing a collection in Workstation.
To export a collection:
- Open the More (⋮) menu on the collection.
- Hover over Export to view the available export formats. For more information, see Available Export Formats
- Select the desired file format. The file downloads automatically.
Available Export Formats
The following table describes the available export formats.

Export to a DOCX Template | Upload an ad hoc template to test an export. |
JSON Export | Export the collection in the standard Cogynt JSON format. |
JSON Export with attachments | Export the collection in the standard Cogynt JSON format, including file attachments. |
Basic (PDF) templates | Lists all custom PDF reports configured in Report Builder. |
Advanced (DOCX) templates | Lists custom collection DOCX reports configured in Report Builder. |
Testing Exports
Users with the appropriate permissions see an Export to DOCX Template option in the list of available exports.
This option lets you test a DOCX export template on demand without creating or saving a formal Report Template in Workstation configuration.
